The Indian team toured England in 1952 playing four Test matches, losing three of them and drawing the other one. The Indian team was captained by Vijay Hazare & the English by Leonard Hutton. England greats JC Laker and FS Trueman were part of the squad. India too had Vinoo Mankad & Vijay Manjrekar as a part of the squad.  DK Gaekwad and FS Trueman made their debuts in this series.
