15 - West Indies Tour Souvenir 1950

  • The West Indies cricket team toured England in the 1950 season to play a four-match Test series against England.
    West Indies won the series 3-1 with no matches drawn. The second Test at Lord's was the first time that the West Indies had won a match in England; in that match Ramadhin took 5 for 66 runs and 6 for 86 runs, whilst Valentine took 4 for 48 and 3 for 79. West Indies FMM Worrell top scored with 539 runs at an average of 89 with AL Valentine taking 33 wickets at an average of 20.
